The Thornborough & Thornton WI is a member of The Buckinghamshire Federation of Women's Institutes (BFWI) who also have a Facebook page
We are also members of The National Federation of Women's Institutes
Denman is the dedicated WI College in Marcham, in Oxfordshire and offers a wide variety of day and residential courses in cookery, craft and lifestyle.
WI Life is a magazine especially for WI members and delivered directly to our doors eight times a year. It features articles and news stories showcasing the diversity and wide-ranging interests of WI members from all walks of life.
Locally our WI has been supporting MK ACT for many years. This is a charity in Milton Keynes which works with over 100 families’ everyday to help them move on from fear and abuse. It also provides safe emergency accommodation for women and their children escaping domestic violence.
Thornborough Parish Council shares local and Parish information as well as serving as a repository for Parish Council documents.
Thornton does not have a Parish Council but local matters are discussed annually at the Thornton Parish Meeting. Email: Thornton Parish Meeting
